Khaled does amazing work! He reballed the GPU on my MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011. The system runs great now, cooler than it did prior to being reballed and it's working perfectly. He did this repair basically same day for me, truly amazing customer service! If your MBP has this issue, don't buy a used board that will probably have the same issue eventually...let Khaled reball your GPU, you MBP will run faster and cooler than when it was brand new!

I emailed and talked with Khaled several times before sending my son's macbook pro. I had gotten him a used macbook as I can't afford a new one for him as he is getting ready for college. Khaled has performed what I did not think was possible. I initially purchased my MPB for about $3000 and it worked flawlessly for 4 years. I made the switch from PC's and Windoze 4 years ago and have never looked back. I considered my MBP to be the best computer that I had ever owned (second only to my Commodore 64), until it developed the dreaded GPU issue. At first the problem was intermittent, but it progressively got worse to the point that it would no longer boot, even in recovery mode. I was ready to sell it for parts on eBay but them after some research I read about this "reballing" technique, I decided to give it it try. I had almost nothing to lose. I must admit that I was skeptical but I figured I'd risk $200. Sending it to Apple was out of the question, not only because of the cost, but also because I had read that even if they did repair it, that they would use the same defective logic board that led to the problem in the first place. Anyway, I shipped it off across the country to Khaled and had it back in about a week. I was amazed when it booted up right out of the box just like nothing had ever been wrong with it. The ultimate test was when I had Safari running with 40 tabs open AND Photoshop running at the same time and the fans remained silent! Photoshop used to put a strain on the computer even before it had completely broken. Also, it used to run so hot that it burned my skin and now the bottom of the computer is cool. Amazing! The repair of my MacBook Pro logic board was done in one day. Communications with Khaled were excellent with quick responses to my email questions. In addition to repairing the logic board Khaled identified a problem with the battery swelling and damage to the trackpad. He repaired the trackpad for a nominal fee. My MacBook Pro is now fully functional. Based on my 43 years experience in electronics R&D I know that the best way to permanently repair a high density ball grid array is by re-balling.

In about an hour, Khaled not only fixed my computer, but also taught me a lot of useful info. No productivity lost at all! I was afraid my computer would be out of commission for a week or more. This repair saved me thousands of dollars because I was thinking maybe it's time for me to get a new computer. Now my computer is back to its former glory, and after I replace the battery and upgrade the hard drive, it will be unstoppable! Thank you Khaled! I must confess I was very hesitant to do a reball on my MBP 15', it took me aprox 2 to 3 weeks of doing my research online and PS3 specialist looked like the most promising alternative, I used my computer for music production and wanted to give it another chance before spending $2500 on a new one. Communication and turnaround time was excellent, computer is been working for 2 weeks already. I would recommend this company if you want to bring back to life your computer. My MacBook Pro started acting up with the dreaded "Black Screen." Having researched heavily I was well aware that my nVidea graphics card required "rebelling." No one near me performed this service. When I sent the 2011 MacBook Pro, I wrote to khaled and talk to him he said it will take few days to fix it. Then came home on 3rd day. All fixed up, I put a new SSD and installed Mavericks with USB and it worked like a charm. My Mac runs at 40c normal and heavy task about 80C. I would recommend this to everybody who has problem with 2011 Macbook Pro graphics card.

Khaled is very skilled and very kind. For me the process was seamless. I live relatively close to his repair shop and he allowed me to bring my 17" 2011 Macbook Pro (with the infamous GPU problem) and watch him perform the reballing of the GPU in person. He definitively performs a reballing service and not a reflow or "easy-bake-oven" method on your logicboard. His setup is amazing and he is very familiar with the components, screws, connectors etc. of the Macbook Pro. He first diagnosed the GPU problem with an intense 3D graphics benchmarking program. Within seconds my screen split in half, then thirds, then back to half. It was obviously breaking/broken. He had the motherboard out and ready to remove the faulty solder in less than 5 minutes. He also thoroughly cleaned the fans and insides of the disassembled laptop. He explained the whole process as he was working. This can be seen on his Facebook page. After the entire reballing process, he reran the benchmarking program and the graphics just flowed over my Macbook screen without glitching or even a stutter. He then restarted my computer with my hard drive, and kindly gave the recommendation to replace my hard drive soon, as it was performing much slower than his testing hard drive. I probably would not have noticed this fact, because to me my computer is going much faster and smoother today. I have been running games and HD videos for hours today without the GPU temps climbing above 60C. In my opinion, this is the fix you should be doing on your Macbook Pro GPU problems. I highly recommend Khaled and his service!

Khaled was great to deal with: the work was done very quickly and he sent photos to show the before and after. He reballed a 13" MBP for me, which isn't one of the models with the infamous GPU issues, but was showing the same display noise. Clearly the reballing was necessary! The only downer was that this shipped to/from Canada and the CBSA taxed me $25 due to the cost of the repair! Was quite an expensive repair in the end, but cheaper than Apple's ridiculous estimate (that would probably not have lasted). And I'd rather give my money to Khaled than rewarding Apple for a bad product!

I just wanted to say that Khaled reballed my gpu. Like everyone else's 2011 17inch, soon the solder points gave way due to the heat problems. Been working like a champ/new for months now so I logged back into the website to give a thumbs up. i got my mid2010 macbook fixed a few weeks ago and its been working just fine , like if nothing ever happened.. my symptons included black screen and lock up of audio, with forced restart the only way out ... then followed by " your computer had a problem and need to be shutdown" i would say up towards of 8 "panics". From a cold start, or after being on a while... iphoto locked up everytime .. I've been putting it to the test with hd video editing on fcp, and gopro software, some after effects comps... and also the graphics bench test... everything works great .. im very happy. ship with fed-ex, buy their box and they'll guarantee it, you'll have it back in about 3-4 days if you ship monday morning..
